Avon Dynamics was founded in 2025 by Dr. Alex Stubbs after 4 years of providing similar consultancy services on a self-employed basis and realising a larger team with expanded expertise would better serve clients. Our aim is to bring specialist Fluid Dynamics expertise to innovative businesses around the world. By supporting our clients journey through the Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs), forming long lasting partnerships and collaborations, integrating into client teams and departments, enhancing capacity, and driving innovation, we are able to help our clients deliver Research and Development (R&D) with reduced development cycle time and cost.
Previous and ongoing projects include the design of novel marine propulsion technologies, design and testing (sub- and full-scale) of a novel cross-flow turbine system, dam stilling basin design validation, HVAC assessment, bus ventilation experimentation, and vehicle passenger comfort improvements.

His expertise in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and ability with Computer Aided Design (CAD), combined with a solutions driven approach, have been instrumental in delivering cutting-edge innovations for our clients.
